Prior to co-founding Amicus Capital, Sunil was a co‑founding General Partner at TrueNorth (formerly India Value Fund). During his fourteen plus years at TrueNorth, Sunil was part of the team which raised and invested $1.2 bn over four funds.

Before TrueNorth, Sunil was part of the investment team at ICICI Venture Funds for seven years where he made investments across diverse sectors and managed the Structured Products Fund. Sunil also worked as an engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited where he was part of the team which executed large petrochemical and power projects.

Sunil is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala and a post‑graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
